How to perform accurate calculation of heat balance and quantitative analysis of energy efficiency for building clusters is an urgent problem to be solved to reduce building energy consumption and improve energy utilization efficiency. This article proposes a method for the heat balance calculation and energy efficiency analysis of building clusters based on enthalpy and humidity diagrams and applies it to the energy management of building clusters containing primary return air systems and heating pipe networks. Firstly, the basic structure and energy management principle of building clusters with a primary return air system and a heating pipe network were given, and the heat balance calculation and energy efficiency analysis method based on diagram was proposed to realize the accurate calculation of heat load and the quantification of energy utilization. Secondly, the energy management model of the building cluster with a primary return air system and a heating pipe network was established to efficiently manage the indoor temperature and the heating schedule of ASHP, HN and HI. Finally, the proposed method was validated by calculation examples, and the results showed that the proposed method is beneficial for improving the energy economy and energy efficiency of building clusters.

Background & Aim: Metabolic and cardiovascular health outcomes are strongly influenced by diet. Dietary habits established in early childhood may persist into adulthood. This study aimed to examine the association between dietary patterns at both 2 and 8 years of age, explaining the maximum variability of high- and low-quality fats, sugars, and fibre, and cardiometabolic markers at age 8 years.

Background: Males with cystic fibrosis (MwCF) face general and disease-specific sexual and reproductive health (SRH) concerns. Using concept mapping (CM), this study identified the SRH topics valued by members of the CF community.

Methods: MwCF 18 years and older, parents and partners of MwCF, and healthcare providers participated in an online CM study.

Background: Over the past two decades, the UK has actively developed policies to enhance early cancer diagnosis, particularly for individuals with non-specific cancer symptoms. Non-specific symptom (NSS) pathways were piloted and then implemented in 2015 to address delays in referral and diagnosis. The aim of this study was to outline the functions that enable NSS teams to investigate cancer and other diagnoses for patients with NSSs.

Sphingolipids serve as building blocks of membranes to ensure subcellular compartmentalization and facilitate intercellular communication. How cell type-specific lipid compositions are achieved and what is their functional significance in tissue morphogenesis and maintenance has remained unclear. Here, we identify a stem cell-specific role for ceramide synthase 4 (CerS4) in orchestrating fate decisions in skin epidermis.

Background: The inverse relationship between increased surgical team familiarity and reduced operative time is established, but its effect on patient outcomes remains uncertain.

Materials And Methods: A prospective cohort study including operations by attending surgeons between 1 November 2020 and 31 December 2021 across fourteen surgical departments from four French university hospitals. Surgical team familiarity was measured as the cumulative number of previous operations performed by the same dyad of attending and assisting surgeons.
