In this study, a novel data-driven control scheme is presented for MEMS gyroscopes (MEMS-Gs). The uncertainties are tackled by suggested type-3 fuzzy system with non-singleton fuzzification (NT3FS). Besides the dynamics uncertainties, the suggested NT3FS can also handle the input measurement errors. The rules of NT3FS are online tuned to better compensate the disturbances. By the input-output data set a data-driven scheme is designed, and a new LMI set is presented to ensure the stability. By several simulations and comparisons the superiority of the introduced control scheme is demonstrated.

Identifying landscape patterns conducive to pollutant transport control is of vitally importance for water quality protection. However, it remains unclear which landscape patterns can weaken the transport capacity of pollutants entering water bodies. To fill this gap, this study proposes a new framework.

Background: Frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) constitute a clinicopathologic spectrum with multifaceted heterogeneities. Brain transcriptomics may help to identify molecular subtypes of FTD and/or ALS but this testing is only possible at autopsy and thus is cross-sectional and representative of end-stage disease. Subtype and Stage Inference (SuStaIn) is an unsupervised machine-learning algorithm that was employed to identify temporal dynamics of data-driven subtypes of ALS and FTD.

Limitations of this diagnostic approach include dependency on education and language, time-consuming and costly measures, and long-term monitoring. Emerging studies suggest that non-tremor motor dysfunction in dementias is known to be highly associated with AD biomarkers, with signs of cognitive decline visible in gait and hand movement at various stages of the illness.

Despite their potential, exoskeletons have not reached widespread adoption in daily life, partly due to the challenge of seamlessly adapting assistance across various tasks and environments. Task-specific designs, reliance on complex sensing and extensive data-driven training often limit the practicality of the existing control strategies. To address this challenge, we introduce an adaptive control strategy for hip exoskeletons, emphasizing minimal sensing and ease of implementation.
