This study evaluated the effects of the Comprehensive Violence Prevention and Protection Program (CVPPP) training for managing patient aggression in 95 participants who attended the FY 2019 program using a single-group pretest-posttest design. The comparison of findings before and 1 month after the training showed a significant improvement in staff anger ( < 0.01) and their negative ( < 0.01) and positive attitudes ( < 0.01) toward psychiatric inpatient aggression and confidence ( < 0.01). Staff with controlling and self-affirming traits provided more effective care and demonstrated a positive attitude toward inpatient aggression ( < 0.05).Supplemental data for this article is available online at https://doi.org/10.1080/01612840.2021.1999542 .

Accurate and timely diagnosis of t(9;22)-positive leukemias is vital to improving survival in pediatric patients. In low-resource settings, where healthcare disparities are exacerbated by limited resources, cost-effective and efficient diagnostic methods are essential for bridging these gaps and ensuring better outcomes. Among the diagnostic tools evaluated among 23 patients sample, RT-PCR demonstrated superior sensitivity (100%) and the shortest turnaround time (7 days), significantly outperforming FISH and karyotyping in both accuracy and timeliness.

Background: Thoracic SMARCA4-deficient undifferentiated tumors (SMARCA4-UT) exhibit a notably aggressive phenotype, which is associated with poor patient survival outcomes. These tumors are generally resistant to conventional cytotoxic chemotherapy, thereby limiting the availability of effective treatment options.
Case Presentation: We describe a 69-year-old AIDS patient who initially presented with a fused, enlarged lymph node on the right clavicle and mild, unexplained pain under the right axilla that worsened with severe coughing episodes.

Background: Adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEGJ) is a highly aggressive tumor that frequently metastasizes to the liver. Understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive this process is essential for developing effective therapies.
Methods: We employed single-cell RNA sequencing to analyze the tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental landscape in patients with AEGJ liver metastases.

Introduction: Gliomas, particularly glioblastomas (GBM), are highly aggressive with a poor prognosis and low survival rate. Currently, deoxyelephantopin (DET) has shown promising anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects. Using clinical prognostic analysis, molecular docking, and network pharmacology, this study aims to explore the primary targets and signaling pathways to identify novel GBM treatment approaches.

Introduction: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is characterized by significant heterogeneity and plasticity, contributing to its aggressive progression and therapy resistance. Autophagy, a conserved cellular process, is implicated in many cancers, but its role in SCLC remains unclear.
Methods: Using a genetically engineered mouse model ( ; ; GFP-LC3-RFP-LC3△G), we tracked autophagic flux to investigate its effects on SCLC biology.
