Women in rural Bangladesh encounter significant barriers to seeking mental healthcare, primarily due to stigmatization rooted in a lack of knowledge about mental health. To address this issue, community-based participatory research (CBPR) has been identified as a promising approach. CBPR involves the active collaboration of community members and stakeholders in the research process to tackle pressing community issues.

Introduction: Health literacy is an important predictor of health behavior and self-rated health, playing a crucial role in shaping public health outcomes. Valid and reliable health literacy assessments are essential for effectively tailoring health interventions, particularly in different cultural contexts. Several questionnaires have been developed to measure health literacy, including the widely used 47-item Health Literacy Questionnaire and its shorter versions.

Introduction: Depressive disorders constitute a significant public health challenge. Health literacy might be an important factor to consider in prevention strategies for depressive disorders, which is why this study aimed at exploring the association between depressive symptom levels and severity and health literacy, along with additional sociodemographic factors.
Materials And Methods: Data were collected from two large samples of adults ( = 3,011) and adolescents ( = 1,021) representative of the German-speaking population in Germany.

This article examines the communication preferences of transgender and genderdiverse individuals in the health system context. Findings suggest the importance of gender sensitivity and confident communication styles in improving patient experience. The article recommends case-based training to understand the dynamics of intersectionality and the development of communication aids to improve health literacy.
