We describe a novel modified intranasal approach to minimize the complications of the impacted mesiodens surgical extraction. Also, it can be performed under local anesthesia with proper preoperative workup.

Background: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears are frequent injuries in athletes that often require surgical reconstruction so that patients may return to their previous levels of performance. While existing data on patient-reported outcomes are similar between bone-patellar tendon-bone (BTB) and hamstring tendon (HT) autografts, the literature regarding return to sport (RTS), return to previous levels of sport activity, and graft failure rate remains limited.
Purpose: To compare rates of RTS, return to previous activity levels, and graft retears among athletes undergoing primary ACL reconstruction using a BTB versus HT autograft.

The present study investigates the potential contribution of Photobiomodulation (PBM) to the regeneration of the bone following the extraction of the first mandibular molar in rats. The study evaluates the efficacy of PBM, using both Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and Light-Emitting Diode Therapy (LEDT), as promotors of osteoblastic activity and the formation of new bone. Study design, setting, and sample: 45 male Wistar rats were divided randomly into three groups of 15 individuals - (i) control group (left lower molar removed only), (ii) the LLL group (molar removed, followed by LLLT), and (iii) the LED group (molar removed, followed by LEDT).

Purpose: To investigate the effects of recession or re-section surgery on PAX 7 positive satellite cells of the extraocular muscle (EOM) in rabbits.
Methods: A total of 20 rabbits (40 eyes) were included in this study. The superior rectus muscle of the right eye was either recessed or resected.

Background: Perthes disease presents a challenge in orthopedic management, often necessitating surgical intervention such as arthroplasty. This meta-analysis systematically evaluated the rate of occurrence and complications associated with arthroplasty in Perthes disease.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted across PubMed, Web of Sciences, Scopus, and Cochrane Library databases to identify relevant studies.

Oral paresthesia occurs when one of the nerves in the region is injured, usually the inferior alveolar and/or lingual nerve, after dental procedures such as the extraction of lower third molars. The objective of this study was to describe the case of a patient who received photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy for paresthesia of the inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) caused by the extraction of mandibular third molars. The protocol used involved a super-pulsed diode laser with dual wavelengths of 810 nm and 980 nm, 1 W, 60 seconds, 12.
