Optical microscopy is widely regarded to be an indispensable tool in healthcare and manufacturing quality control processes, although its inability to resolve structures separated by a lateral distance under ~200 nm has culminated in the emergence of a new field named , while this too is prone to several caveats (namely phototoxicity, interference caused by exogenous probes and cost). In this regard, we present a triplet string of concatenated O-Net ('bead') architectures (termed 'Θ-Net' in the present study) as a cost-efficient and non-invasive approach to enhancing the resolution of phase-modulated optical microscopical images . The quality of the afore-mentioned enhanced resolution (ER) images was compared with that obtained via other popular frameworks (such as ANNA-PALM, BSRGAN and 3D RCAN), with the Θ-Net-generated ER images depicting an increased level of detail (unlike previous DNNs).

Pyroelectric materials are naturally electrically polarized and exhibits a built-in spontaneous polarization in their unit cell structure even in the absence of any externally applied electric field. These materials are regarded as one of the ideal detector elements for infrared applications because they have a fast response time and uniform sensitivity at room temperature across all wavelengths. Crystals of the perovskite lead titanate (PbTiO3) family show pyroelectric characteristics and undergo structural phase transitions.

Pyroelectric materials, are those materials with the property that in the absence of any externally applied electric field, develop a built-in spontaneous polarization in their unit cell structure. They are regarded as ideal detector elements for infrared applications because they can provide fast response time and uniform sensitivity at room temperature over all wavelengths. Crystals of the perovskite Lead Titanate (PbTiO3) family show pyroelectric characteristics and undergo structural phase transitions.

Background: To report baseline characteristics, patient reported outcomes and treatment of children with Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM) in the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) Registry.
Methods: Children newly diagnosed with JDM were enrolled in the CARRA Registry from 41 pediatric rheumatology centers. Baseline patient demographics, disease characteristics, assessments, patient reported outcome and treatments were recorded.

Plant viruses cause yield losses to crops of agronomic and economic significance and are a challenge to the achievement of global food security. Although conventional plant breeding has played an important role in managing plant viral diseases, it will unlikely meet the challenges posed by the frequent emergence of novel and more virulent viral species or viral strains. Hence there is an urgent need to seek alternative strategies of virus control that can be more readily deployed to contain viral diseases.
