Context: Microorganisms are the main cause of failure of endodontic treatment. When retreatment fails periapical surgery followed by retrograde filling is done to seal the apex. A root-end filling material should have antimicrobial property as well as bioactive properties necessary for healing, repair, and regeneration of the apex.
Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial and antifungal efficacy of three bioactive root-end filling materials: mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) Plus, Biodentine, Endosequence root repair material (ERRM) against and .
Subjects And Methods: and standard bacterial strains were used. 100 μl was taken from liquid cultures of and planted in Mueller-Hinton agar and the same amount of was planted in Sabouraud dextrose agar by lawn culture. MTA Plus, Biodentine, and ERRM were aseptically filled into the opened pits. Following this, the media were kept in the drying oven at 37°C for 24, 48, and 72 h and the diameters of the inhibition zones were measured.
Statistical Analysis Used: Statistical analysis was carried out by Kruskal-Wallis, (Mann-Whitney), Friedman, and (Wilcoxon-sign) test.
Results: Among the three groups, the antimicrobial activity of Biodentine against was statistically higher than MTA Plus and ERRM ( < 0.05). Antifungal activity of MTA Plus against was statistically higher than Biodentine and ERRM ( < 0.05). ERRM showed the smallest inhibition zone against and among the three groups ( < 0.05).
Conclusions: Biodentine exhibited the greatest antimicrobial activity and MTA Plus exhibited the greatest antifungal activity among the three groups. ERRM exhibited the least antibacterial and antifungal activity among the three groups.

This study aimed to determine the efficacy of red pine and larch pine needles powder at different doses on productive performance, egg quality, hatching parameters, total fatty acid and cholesterol levels of laying quails. A total of 126 (84 ♀ and 42 ♂) 20-week-old laying quail were randomly distributed into seven experimental diets with three replicates of six (four female and two male) birds per cage. The groups were fed a basal diet (CON group), a basal diet with red pine needle powder (RPNP group) (1.

Background: To determine the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of a 6-month tailored non-linear progressive physical activity intervention (PAI) for lymphoma patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Methods: Patients newly diagnosed with lymphoma (non-Hodgkin (NHL) or Hodgkin (HL)) were randomized into the PAI or healthy living intervention (HLI) control (2:1). Feasibility was assessed by examining accrual, adherence, and retention rates.

Background: Delphi studies are primarily used in the health sciences to find consensus. They inform clinical practice and influence structures, processes, and framework conditions of healthcare. The practical research-how Delphi studies are conducted-has seldom been discussed methodologically or documented systematically.

Background: Germline heterozygous pathogenic variants (PVs) in TP53 cause Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS), a condition associated with increased risk of multiple tumor types. As the associated cancer risks were refined over time, clinical criteria also evolved to optimize diagnostic yield. The implementation of multi-gene panel germline testing in different clinical settings has led to the identification of TP53 PV carriers outside the classic LFS-associated cancer phenotypes, leading to a broader cancer phenotypic redefinition and to the renaming of the condition as "heritable TP53-related cancer syndrome" (hTP53rc).

Background: To investigate the alterations in spontaneous brain activity and the similarities and differences between monocular deprivation amblyopia and binocular deprivation amblyopia.
Methods: Twenty children with binocular deprivation amblyopia, 26 children with monocular deprivation amblyopia and 20 healthy controls underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging. The evaluation of altered spontaneous brain activity was conducted using fractional amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (fALFF).
