The impact of preoperative structured instructions by a hand therapist on recovery after carpal tunnel and trigger finger releases was assessed in 87 patients. No significant differences in recovery, satisfaction, or outcomes were found, suggesting limited benefit.

Cognitive impairment in patients with COVID-19 has been reported, but findings are inconsistent. This study assessed cognitive functioning 6 months post-infection across three COVID-19 severity groups compared to non-COVID controls. Seventy-two ICU-treated, 49 ward-treated, and 44 home-isolated patients with COVID-19, along with 48 controls, underwent neuropsychological evaluation and assessment of subjective cognitive symptoms, depressive symptoms, and fatigue.

Objective: The aim was to establish the validity and reliability of the English version of MisoQuest, a 14-item misophonia questionnaire initially validated in the Polish language.
Design: Reliability was examined through internal consistency, measurement error, and test-retest reliability. Validity was evaluated with confirmatory factor analysis, convergent, and discriminant validity.

In the current age of technological advancement, stress has emerged as a silent pandemic affecting individuals, especially young generations, globally. Factors such as increased competition, social pressures fueled by social media and smartphones, and a sense of diminished control in the face of modern challenges contribute to rising stress levels. In addition to the negative implications on mental well-being, stress affects physiological processes such as the menstrual cycle.
