An incomplete discoid lateral meniscus is often associated with radial tears, which cause meniscal extrusion and result in poor healing outcomes. Centralization has recently been used as a surgical method to reduce extrusion. However, various repair techniques use single point of fixation sutures exclusively on the femoral side, potentially hindering healing.

The circumareolar approach is one of the most popular and versatile in breast surgeries. Nevertheless, this approach usually implies a closure under tension which could lead to areolar distortion, scar widening and hypertrophic scarring. To prevent these complications, different surgical adjustments to this technique have been proposed, such as the Hammond's "Interlocking Gore-Tex suture.

Purpose: Medial meniscus (MM) posterior root tears (PRT) cause pathological medial extrusion (MMME) and posterior extrusion (MMPE), particularly during knee flexion, leading to rapidly progressive knee osteoarthritis. We investigated pre- and postoperative MM extrusion using three-dimensional open magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) following two pullout repair techniques: two simple stitches (TSS) and TSS with an additional all-inside suture to the posteromedial capsule (TSS-PM). We hypothesized that TSS-PM would decrease MM extrusion more effectively than TSS.

Purpose: We evaluated the surgical outcomes and management of complications associated with the minimally invasive conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy using the StopLoss Jones (SLJT) tube of proximal lacrimal canal obstruction.
Methods: The study retrospectively included 22 eyes of 15 patients who underwent SLJT for proximal canalicular obstruction. Age, gender, follow-up duration, etiology of canalicular obstruction, previous surgery, tube size, complications, and the need for additional surgical intervention were assessed.
