Synovial sarcoma (SS) has a rare occurrence in the female genital tract. Only three prior reports of primary ovarian sarcoma could be retrieved after a thorough literature review. We are reporting a case of primary ovarian SS in a young woman. The tumour showed monophasic spindle cell morphology, and there was a wide list of differential diagnosis to consider. We confirmed the diagnosis by cytogenetics Flourescent Insitu Hybridisation (FISH) technique to identify the classical translocation. The diagnosis of this disease can be challenging especially if the tumour is of monophasic type. Morphology and immunohistochemistry are not enough to confirm the diagnosis in many cases. A confirmatory molecular pathology test is paramount. We have discussed the differential diagnosis of spindle cell tumours in ovary. We suggest that SS should be in the differential diagnoses when facing any atypical spindle cell tumour in the ovary. Molecular pathology techniques can help to confirm the diagnosis.

In women after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), complications associated with the original disease and therapies used both before and after transplantation often occur, which significantly affects their quality of life. The most common gynaecological complications include secondary cancers, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), infertility and chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). Cervical cancer is the most common secondary genital cancer in patients after HSCT.

Objective: To assess whether premenopausal women diagnosed with deep or ovarian endometriosis on transvaginal sonography (TVS) were more likely to suffer from dyspareunia and pelvic pain symptoms, and have a lower quality of life, compared to women without sonographically diagnosed deep or ovarian endometriosis.
Methods: This was a prospective, cross-sectional study carried out between February 2019 and October 2020 at the general gynecology clinic at University College London Hospital, London, UK. All premenopausal women aged 18-50 years, who were examined consecutively by a single experienced examiner and underwent a detailed TVS scan, were eligible for inclusion.

Background: Several approaches are being explored for engineering off-the-shelf chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells. In this study, we engineered chimeric Fcγ receptor (FcγR) T cells and tested their potential as a versatile platform for universal T cell therapy.
Methods: Chimeric FcγR (CFR) constructs were generated using three distinct forms of FcγR, namely CD16A, CD32A, and CD64.

Objectives: Sedentary behaviour (SB) is associated with increased risks of breast, colorectal, endometrial, ovarian and rectal cancers. However, the number of cancer cases attributable to SB in Germany and the associated costs are unknown.
Setting: Numbers and proportions (population-attributable fractions, PAF) of new cancer cases attributable to SB with published risk estimates for Germany for the years 2024, 2030 and 2040.

An adolescent girl with acute myeloid leukaemia underwent chemotherapy followed by haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). Post-HSCT, she developed oral chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGvHD), which was successfully treated. Twenty months later, she was referred to the gynaecology department for evaluation of secondary amenorrhoea.
