Helical polymers present some interesting and distinctive properties, and one of the most distinguished applications of them is the chiral recognition and resolution of enantiomers. In this work, star-shaped hybrid helical poly (phenyl isocyanide) (PPI) with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) as the core was designed and synthesized by "grafting to" strategy. The homoarm star-shaped hybrid POSS-(PPI) was first obtained by the click reaction between azide-modified POSS (POSS-(N ) ) and alkynyl-modified PPI (PPI-Alkynyl). The hybrid POSS-(PPI) was with predominated left-handed helical conformation and exhibited excellent ability in the enantioselective crystallization of racemic compounds. In the meantime, heteroarm star-shaped hybrid (PEG) -POSS-(PPI) was prepared by the click reaction of POSS-(N ) with PPI-Alkynyl and alkynyl-modified poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG-Alkynyl). The hybrid (PEG) -POSS-(PPI) was amphiphilic, and it could self-assemble to form spherical micelles in aqueous solutions.

Adhesive conducting elastomers are rising materials towards cutting-edge applications in wearable and implantable soft electronics. Yet, engineering the conductive adhesives with robust and tunable interfacial bonding strength is still in its infancy stage. We herein identify a structurally novel supramolecular polymer scaffold, characterized by synergistic coexistence of hydrogen-bonding (H-bonding) interactions and electrostatic ionic junctions, endowing the robust and tunable elastic conducting adhesives with remarkable thermal/electro-responsive performance.

The rise of multidrug-resistant bacteria (MDRB) has made bacterial infection one of the biggest health threats, causing numerous antibiotics to fail. Real-time monitoring of bacterial disease treatment efficacy at the infection site is required. Herein, we report a versatile Raman tag 3,3'-diethylthiatricarbocyanine iodide (DTTC)-conjugated star-shaped Au-MoS@hyaluronic acid (AMD@HA) nanocomposite as a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) nanoprobe for quick bacterial identification and in-situ eradication.

Sensitivity analysis is significant for understanding and measuring the impact of various parameters and input variables on heat transfer phenomena. The main objective of the current work is to examine the sensitivity of a numerical analysis of mixed convection in a lid-driven square cavity with a magnetic field. The cavity also contains a heated, star-shaped obstacle and is filled with a hybrid nanofluid.

In these islands, adaptive radiation has played a remarkable role in speciation, particularly evident in the genus that is represented by three species: and exclusive to the Chichijima Islands, and , distributed across the entire Bonin Islands. Notably, exhibits multiple ecotypes, differing in leaf hair density, flowering time, and tree size.

Anisotropic gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are renowned for their unique properties - including localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and adjustable optical responses to light exposure - that enable the conversion of light into heat and make them a promising tool in cancer therapy. Nonetheless, their tendency to aggregate and consequently lose their photothermal conversion capacity during prolonged irradiation periods represents a central challenge in developing anisotropic AuNPs for clinical use. To overcome this issue, an innovative approach that facilitates the encapsulation of individual anisotropic AuNPs within thin nanogels, forming hybrid nanomaterials that mirror the inorganic core's morphology while introducing a negligible (2-8 nm) increase in overall diameter is proposed.
