Motor imagery (MI) is a cognitive process believed to rely on the representation developed through experience. The equivalence between MI and execution has been questioned and the relationship between experience types and MI is unclear. Background: C5 palsy is a frequent complication following cervical spine surgery, particularly after posterior approaches. Although several risk factors have been proposed, the incidence of C5 palsy after anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) remains less well understood. This study aims to elucidate the risk factors and neurological recovery associated with C5 palsy following ACDF.

Introduction: Managing open distal radius fractures (DRFs) poses challenges. While preventing surgical site infection (SSI) involves prompt antibiotic administration and thorough irrigation and debridement, the impact of urgent intervention on reducing postoperative infection rates is debated. We hypothesize that timing of surgery does not significantly affect the incidence of SSI in open DRF treated within or after 24 hours from time of injury.

The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of hazardous psychosocial factors on stress among employees when performing production tasks to develop recommendations for reducing their impact. Based on the recommendations of the ISO 45003:2021 standard, a special questionnaire was developed to determine hazardous psychosocial factors that lead to the appearance of worker's stress, the answers to which were evaluated on a Likert scale with points from 0 to 4. 68 workers (23 men and 45 women) aged 20 to 45 took part in the survey conducted at industrial enterprises of the Dnipro region in May-June 2023.

Introduction: Trauma and orthopedics departments have traditionally used face-to-face (FTF) fracture clinics for non-operative fractures. Developed in 2011, the virtual fracture clinic (VFC) was fully implemented at an institution during the COVID-19 pandemic to reduce in-person interactions.

Aims: First, the study aims to measure the percentage of non-operative patients triaged through the VFC when this was optional and re-audit after implementing a COVID-19-related policy change mandating VFC triage.
