Purpose: To clinically validate the NANDA International (NANDA-I), nursing diagnoses (ND) of "Ineffective breastfeeding (00104)" and "Readiness for enhanced breastfeeding (00106)" in postpartum women and their infants, and to determine the sensitivity, specificity, and predictive value of their elements.
Methods: Cross-sectional study was conducted from June 2023 to April 2024. Recruitment happened at a public teaching hospital, approaching dyads from the neonatology outpatient clinic and the rooming-in.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends rooming-in to reduce infant mortality rates. Little research has been done to assess practices such as rooming-in and its relation to breastfeeding in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The aim of this study was to examine the prevalence of rooming-in during hospital stay among mothers with infants six months old and below, in addition to other associated factors in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This study aims to provide insights into the impact of organizational family-centered care characteristics at German neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) on the satisfaction of parents of very low birthweight (VLBW) infants. Using multilevel modeling, this study analyzed whether organizational characteristics of NICUs fostering parent-infant interaction (by way of the existence of a , possibility of , existence of for parents, existence of , and the connection to as well as the existence of ) increase the satisfaction of parents after the infants' high-intensive care phase within the NICU. Nine hundred and twenty-three VLBW infants from 66 NICUs in Germany born between May and October 2013 were enrolled in this multicenter study.
