The Kelch protein superfamily is an evolutionary conserved family containing 63 alternate protein coding members. The superfamily is split into three subfamilies: Kelch like (KLHL), Kelch-repeat and bric-a-bracs (BTB) domain containing (KBTBD) and Kelch domain containing protein (KLHDC). The KLHDC subfamily is one of the smallest within the Kelch superfamily, containing 10 primary members.

Current treatments include iron supplementation, dopamine agonists, and opioids, but new therapeutic approaches are needed. The dysfunction of the A11 nucleus, which modulates dopaminergic transmission to the spinal cord, is thought to play a role in RLS pathophysiology.

It is estimated that more than one billion people are affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Whilst there are existing treatments to reduce morbidity, a major challenge is creating robust programs that are both country led and leverage the existing health systems. Using a systems thinking approach is a critical component for integrating NTD services, as it takes into account all aspects of what might otherwise be considered fragmented systems to create a more efficient system.

Formerly termed or , core muscle injury (CMI) encompasses abnormality of structures within the so-called core, which is essentially the hip, abdomen, and pubis. Compared with data on image-guided procedures of other joints, information regarding procedures performed to address CMI and other disorders of the pubic symphysis is lacking. These procedures can be daunting given the joint's small size, surrounding critical neurovascular structures, and three-dimensional anatomy.
