In preeclampsia (PE), preexistent maternal endothelial dysfunction leads to impaired placentation and vascular maladaptation. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been shown to participate in the placentation process. LncRNA fms-related tyrosine kinase 1 pseudogene 1 () was previously reported to be upregulated in PE. In this study, we verified the effect of and its cognate gene on trophoblast cell proliferation and angiogenesis by using Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay, tube formation assay, and western blot analysis. Their binding to RNA binding protein dyskeratosis congenita 1 () was validated by conducting RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) and RNA pulldown assays. In this study, knockdown of or was found to promote cell proliferation and angiogenesis in trophoblasts. In addition, recruited to stabilize . Importantly, silencing or decreased the stability of . Rescue assays revealed that overexpression reversed the effect of silenced . Overall, cooperates with to restrain trophoblast cell proliferation and angiogenesis by targeting .

Background: Immune cells within tumor tissues play important roles in remodeling the tumor microenvironment, thus affecting tumor progression and the therapeutic response. The current study was designed to identify key markers of plasma cells and explore their role in high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC).
Methods: We utilized single-cell sequencing data from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database to identify key immune cell types within HGSOC tissues and to extract related markers via the Seurat package.

Both women and men are now confronted with the grave threat of cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). It is estimated that 80% of women may encounter HPV over their lives. In the preponderance of cases involving anal, head and neck, oral, oropharyngeal, penile, vaginal, vulvar, and cervical malignancies, high-risk HPV (HR-HPV) is the causative agent.

Background: The aging of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) impairs bone tissue regeneration, contributing to skeletal disorders. LncRNA NEAT1 is considered as a proliferative inhibitory role during cellular senescence, but the relevant mechanisms remain insufficient. This study aims to elucidate how NEAT1 regulates mitotic proteins during BMSCs aging.

Background: Cancer remains a leading cause of death worldwide. Environmental factors, specifically endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs), like phthalates, are increasingly being linked to cancer development. Phthalates, widely used in consumer products, can activate the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR).

Background: Zinc finger protein 169 (ZNF169) plays a key role in cancer development. However, the specific role of ZNF169 in the tumorigenesis of thyroid carcinoma (THCA) remains poorly understood.
Methods: The expression of ZNF169 was measured using immunohistochemistry, RT-qPCR, and western blot.
