Although anticoagulation can be an option for the resolution of thrombus, surgical removal is a definite treatment for removing mass lesions, especially in patients with unknown pathology. The present case report demonstrates the surgical removal of a sarcoma of the ascending aorta after the failure of anticoagulation. ().
