By extending an earlier study [Gianturco et al., J. Chem. Phys. 154, 054311 (2021)] on the purely rotational excitation of HeH by He atoms, we report in this paper integral cross sections and rate coefficients for rovibrational excitation and de-excitation processes in HeH due to collisions with He. The data were obtained using a new ab initio potential energy surface that includes the vibrational degree of freedom. The results are compared with those computed using the earlier potential energy surface by Panda and Sathyamurthy [J. Phys. Chem. A 107, 7125 (2003)] that additionally accounts for the proton-exchange reaction between HeH and He. It is shown that the exchange channel contributes nearly as much as the inelastic channel to the vibrational excitation and de-excitation processes and that the total rate constants pertaining to the purely inelastic processes are largely of the same magnitude as those obtained when both inelastic and reactive channels are included in the dynamics. The inelastic rovibrational rate coefficients involving this astrophysical cation are also found to be much larger than those obtained for anions present in similar interstellar environments.

Feeding pigs lipids containing high levels of lipid oxidation products (LOP) has been shown to reduce growth performance, but data is lacking on quantitative relationships between LOP and pig growth, feed intake and feed efficiency. Four experiments (EXP) were conducted using soybean oil (SO) in EXP 1, 2, and 3, as well as SO, choice white grease (CWG) and palm oil (PO) in EXP 4, to evaluate the impact of feeding diets containing different amounts of LOP on pig performance. Lipid peroxidation was carried out using variable heating temperatures and durations to generate lipids with a broad range of peroxide (PV, mEq) and anisidine value (AnV, unitless).

In order to solve the problem of logging calibration without a free pipe in the process of acoustic variable density logging and the subjective problem of the free pipe calibration method, this paper studies an attenuation rate calibration method based on acoustic variable density logging. Using the developed acoustic wave probe response relationship device and the acoustic wave probe calibration device, the response consistency of the receiving probe of the acoustic wave instrument and the frequency of the transmitting probe can be calibrated in the laboratory, and the response consistency and frequency calibration coefficient can be obtained. Through this coefficient, the acoustic wave attenuation rate can be derived.

Background: Upadacitinib is a selective Janus kinase (JAK) 1 inhibitor approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of moderate-to-severe inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). We aimed to establish and validate a method for determining Upadacitinib in patients with IBD by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method.
Methods: The mobile phase was 0.

- Brain tumors (BT), both benign and malignant, pose a substantial impact on human health and need precise and early detection for successful treatment. Analysing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image is a common method for BT diagnosis and segmentation, yet misdiagnoses yield effective medical responses, impacting patient survival rates. Recent technological advancements have popularized deep learning-based medical image analysis, leveraging transfer learning to reuse pre-trained models for various applications.

Objective: We aimed to develop a highly interpretable and effective, machine-learning based risk prediction algorithm to predict in-hospital mortality, intubation and adverse cardiovascular events in patients hospitalised with COVID-19 in Australia (AUS-COVID Score).
Materials And Methods: This prospective study across 21 hospitals included 1714 consecutive patients aged ≥ 18 in their index hospitalization with COVID-19. The dataset was separated into training (80%) and test sets (20%).
