Hintergrund: Um die Schlaganfallversorgung zu optimieren, wurden in Deutschland in den letzten Jahren verschiedene qualitätsfördernde Maßnahmen (qfM) in regional unterschiedlichem Maß eingeführt. Ob sich diese Maßnahmen über die Jahre flächendeckend etabliert haben, ist unklar.
Methode: Für die strukturbezogenen Analysen der Schlaganfallversorgung in Deutschland wurden alle relevanten dokumentierten Schlaganfälle (ICD-10) aus den Qualitätsberichten (QB) deutscher Krankenhäuser und eine repräsentative Stichprobe von Krankenversicherungsdaten (AOK) im Zeitraum von 2006 (QB)/2007 (AOK) bis 2017 verwendet.

Background And Objective: Due to multiple factors the performance of preclinical emergency anesthesia is fraught with risks even for experienced emergency physicians. In order to support emergency physicians in monitoring and management of anesthesia, the German practice management guidelines for preclinical emergency anesthesia in adults were published in 2015; however, current data on adherence to the guidelines are not available.
Material And Methods: In a retrospective register analysis of preclinical anesthesia from 2015-2017 in Baden-Württemberg, the recorded anesthetic agents, monitoring, airway management and medical disciplines of emergency physicians were analyzed.

Introduction: A recent survey among plastic surgery residents and directors of microsurgical clinics demonstrates a great interest in high- quality microsurgery education. Unfortunately, due to economic pressures, limited operating resources as well as forensic considerations, it has become a challenge to provide sufficient on-the-job training, which needs to be shifted outside of the OR. To promote microsurgical teaching, the German-speaking Working Group for Microsurgery of Peripheral Nerves and Vessels (DAM) organises two-day microsurgery academies to provide interested colleagues with a broad spectrum of microsurgical procedures.
