Content of Zn and Cu in blood and hair and comparative levels of Zn and Cu in blood were determined in 83 patients with aphtosis. Internal and external treatment with Zn preparations in 159 patients with aphtosis produced good results in 81.13% of cases, as evaluated at 1-year follow up review.

Arterial aneurysms are rare and may occur in the context of Behçet's disease. The natural progression of these aneurysms can lead to an increase in their size and eventual rupture into the bronchi, causing life-threatening hemoptysis. We report a case of a subclavian artery aneurysm in a 30-year-old female patient with Behçet's disease who presented with moderate hemoptysis caused by a fistulized left subclavian artery aneurysm into the left main bronchus.

LU is a diagnosis of exclusion. As these lesions heal spontaneously, in the absence of tissue scarring, the therapy is mainly symptomatic and focuses on pain relief.
