Background: The spread of fake news may lead to a disparate wave of digital health-seeking behavior, cyberchondria, anxiety, indecision, and other psychosocial dysfunctions, including collapse in social capital and stigmatization. In this study, we utilized a bibliometric analysis to discern the primary trends associated with health communication and health-seeking behavior regarding dementia-related contents in countries within the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.

The hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1 alpha) is a major regulator of adaptive response to hypoxia, common in patients with severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). In addition, HIF-1 alpha regulates the expression of the most important proteins necessary for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection of cells. The study included 129 hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

Objective: Obesity is a disease with severe health impacts on individuals and economic impacts on society, yet healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and policy makers often fail to address it. This survey was conducted to examine current global obesity care and perceptions influencing care delivery among HCPs and healthcare decision makers (HC DMs).

Methods: A survey with a cross-sectional design was conducted among 1200 HCPs (primary care providers, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and nurses) and 414 HC DMs from eight countries across five continents.
