The complete absence of the four fetal limbs is extremely rare.

Hence, this study aimed to determine the proportion of newborns with low birth weight and determinant factors, particularly focusing on maternal characteristics.

Methods: The study was conducted based on the children's data set of the 2019 Ethiopia mini-demographic and health survey.
