Socio-aesthetics has become very popular in recent years. Suffering from a lack of recognition and in the absence of a regulatory framework, it is still too often associated, in a somewhat caricatured way, with softness, relaxation or cocooning. While it is certainly a profession whose vocation is to "cause well-being", this is not its only mission.
