Background And Aim: Qualitative diagnosis of ulcerative colitis-associated neoplasia (UCAN) is crucial for surveillance colonoscopy in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC). Although the utility of magnifying endoscopy with narrow-band imaging (ME-NBI) in sporadic neoplasia diagnosis has been reported, its efficacy in UCAN remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the usefulness of ME-NBI for qualitative diagnosis of UCAN.

Some cases of COVID-19 infections require long-term hospitalization in the intensive care unit. Moreover, special protective equipment worn by physicians owing to the pandemic complicate wound management.

Vulvo-vaginal-oral lichen planus (VVO-LP) is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, skin, and genital areas. The exact etiology remains unclear, although immune-mediated mechanisms are considered likely contributors. It is a rare form of lichen planus, which typically presents in adults and is more common in middle-aged women.
