Objectives: Flexibility radiographs such as traction or bending radiographs are essential in preoperative imaging to assess for curve flexibility and to estimate the amount of operative correction in order to determine the type and length of instrumentation in growth-accompanying scoliosis treatment. Rationale: Synovial sarcoma (SS) is a rare and highly malignant soft tissue sarcoma. When SS occurs in atypical locations, it can present significant diagnostic challenges.
