A man in his early 60s, with a history of obstructive airway disease and hypertension, had a fall from a height 1 year ago. He developed a fracture of the left distal tibia and fibula, for which open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) was done. Since then, he has had persistent pain and discharge from the implant site, for which multiple antibiotics were given and debridement was done numerous times.

Introduction: Retroperitoneal liposarcomas are rare malignant tumors that often present asymptomatically until advanced stages. Giant liposarcomas exceeding 30 cm are particularly uncommon, and colonic infiltration causing gastrointestinal bleeding is extremely rare, with only a few cases documented in the literature.
Case Presentation: A 78-year-old female presented with hematochezia, constipation, and diffuse abdominal pain.

Background: Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), a quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (qMRI) technique, has the potential to aid in disease characterization and treatment response monitoring. MR-Linacs (MRLs) enable simultaneous DWI acquisitions during radiotherapy, uniquely aiding in the collection of large-scale datasets for imaging biomarkers, such as the DWI-derived apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), without additional patient burden. However, the limited data reporting on variability in MRL scanner performance characteristics, and a lack of established clinical trial quality assurance (QA) procedures, are barriers to this route for biomarker validation.

The aim of this review is to provide an update on the imaging triage, safety considerations, and cancer-imaging features of common and uncommon gynecological tumors during pregnancy. Clinical examination can be inconclusive, especially for the evaluation of intra-abdominal diseases since symptoms related to cancer such as fatigue, vomiting, or nausea overlap with common pregnancy-associated symptoms. Delayed pregnancy, advanced maternal age, and improvements in diagnostic imaging in developed countries have increased the incidence of cancer diagnosis in gravid populations.

Although the pathogenesis of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) remains largely unclear, evidence is accumulating to suggest the systemic nature of this disease. Here, we comprehensively assessed the whole aortic tree with its major branches based on computed tomography angiography (CTA) in AAA patients compared to ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm (ATAA) patients and nonaneurysmal controls, as well as in an original mouse model of AAA in Lkb1;Myh11-Cre/ERT2 mice. The morphology and dimensions of the whole aorta (at different levels) and its major branches were compared among 47 AAA patients, 47 ATAA patients, and 46 nonaneurysmal controls based on CTA images.
