In this paper, we investigate and explore the properties of quasi-topological loops with respect to irresoluteness. Moreover, we construct an example of a quasi-irresolute topological inverse property-loop by using a zero-dimensional additive metrizable perfect topological inverse property-loop with relative topology .

Background: Investigating brain metabolic networks is crucial for understanding the pathogenesis and functional alterations in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). However, studies on presymptomatic individuals remain limited. This study aimed to examine metabolic network topology reconfiguration in asymptomatic carriers of the PRNP G114V mutation.

The rat offers a uniquely valuable animal model in neuroscience, but we currently lack an individual-level understanding of the in vivo rat brain network. Here, leveraging longitudinal measures of cortical magnetization transfer ratio (MTR) from in vivo neuroimaging between postnatal days 20 (weanling) and 290 (mid-adulthood), we design and implement a computational pipeline that captures the network of structural similarity (MIND, morphometric inverse divergence) between each of 53 distinct cortical areas. We first characterized the normative development of the network in a cohort of rats undergoing typical development (N=47), and then contrasted these findings with a cohort exposed to early life stress (ELS, N=40).

The pluripotent stem cell (PSC)-derived human primordial germ cell-like cells (PGCLCs) are a cell culture-derived surrogate model of embryonic primordial germ cells. Upon differentiation of PSCs to PGCLCs, multiple loci of HML-2, the hominoid-specific human endogenous retrovirus (HERV), are strongly activated, which is necessary for PSC differentiation to PGCLCs. In PSCs, strongly activated loci of HERV-H family HERVs create chromatin contacts, which are required for the pluripotency.

The breaking of inversion symmetry dictates the emergence of electric polarization, whose topological states in superlattices and bulks have received tremendous attention for their intriguing physics brought for novel device design. However, as for substrate oxides such as LaAlO, KTaO, RScO (R = rare earth element), their centrosymmetric trivial attributes make their functionality poorly explored. Here, the discovery of nanoscale thickness gradient-induced nonpolar-to-polar phase transition in band insulator DyScO is reported by using atomic resolution transmission electron microscopy.

Leveraging the reciprocal-space proximity effect between superconducting bulk and topological surface states (TSSs) offers a promising way to topological superconductivity. However, elucidating the mutual influence of bulk and TSSs on topological superconductivity remains a challenge. Here, we report pioneering transport evidence of a thickness-dependent transition from conventional to unconventional superconductivity in 2M-phase WS (2M-WS).
