Three-body reaction rates of Cl with H to form the weakly bound complex Cl(H) are measured between 10 and 26 K in a linear radio-frequency wire trap. Formation of larger clusters of the form Cl(H) are also observed. The three-body (or termolecular) rate coefficients follow the form , with = 1.12(2) × 10 cm K s. Reverse reactions to repopulate the Cl parent ion were measured, even though the binding energy of the complex makes bimolecular dissociative collisions energetically inaccessible at low temperatures. The back-reaction was found to be proportional to the cube of the hydrogen density, suggesting that the dissociation mechanism depends on multiple collisions. Comparisons of the rate coefficients measured in a 16-pole wire trap and a 22-pole trap demonstrate significantly lower ion temperatures in the wire trap.

The capture of wild-living animals can provide valuable information that is critical in developing and implementing effective conservation actions. These capture procedures, however, often require direct handling of individuals by researchers, and conservationists should constantly seek to improve capture methods so that the impacts on animal welfare are minimised. The ngwayir (western ringtail possum; ) is a critically endangered arboreal marsupial in need of effective conservation.

In medical practice, the retrieval of intravascular foreign bodies (IFBs) represents a challenge and often requires a multidisciplinary approach. We report a case of a 65-year-old male patient with a metallic guide wire extended from the right subclavian artery to the left ventricle. An interventional radiology team employed the "trap technique", with a combination of a retrieval device and angiographic catheters, which results crucial in this case.

Wild boar trapping has been used as a management tool to control wild boar populations. However, it is increasingly criticized due to animal welfare concerns. While cortisol levels have been used to assess trap-related stress in wild boar, data on trap-related injuries and behavioral data are scarce.

Atrial septal abnormalities are common congenital lesions that remain asymptomatic in many patients until adulthood. Adults with atrial septal defects (ASD) most commonly have ostium secundum ASD. Transcatheter closure has become increasingly popular in recent years as a successful alternative method to surgery for treating ASD and patent foramen ovale (PFO).

A 59-year-old male dialysis patient with a history of coronary artery bypass graft surgery underwent percutaneous coronary intervention of a right coronary artery with a severely calcified lesion. While debulking calcification using a Rotablator, the driveshaft was suddenly fractured. We attempted to move a child-in-mother catheter closer and across a second floppy wire and we dilated a 2.
