Stable law distributions occur in the description of the linear dielectric behavior of polymers, the motion of carriers in semi-conductors, the statistical behavior of neurons, and many other phenomena. No accurate tables of these distributions or algorithms for estimating the parameters in these relaxation models exist. In this paper we present tables of the functions together with related functional properties of (). These are useful in the estimation of the parameters in relaxation models for polymers and related materials. Values of the integral () are given for = 0.01,0.02(0.02)0.1(0.1)1.0(0.2)2.0 and those of () are given for = 0.0(0.01)0.1(0.1)2.0. A variety of methods was used to obtain six place accuracy. The tables can be used to sequentially estimate the three parameters appearing in the Williams-Watts model of relaxation. An illustration of this method applied to data in the literature is given.

This paper investigates the probabilistic-sampling-based asynchronous control problem for semi-Markov reaction-diffusion neural networks (SMRDNNs). Aiming at mitigating the drawback of the well-known fixed-sampling control law, a more general probabilistic-sampling-based control strategy is developed to characterize the randomly sampling period. The system mode is considered to be related to the sojourn-time and undetectable.

As electronics advance toward higher performance and adaptability in extreme environments, traditional metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) face challenges due to physical constraints such as Boltzmann's law and short-channel effects. Nanoscale air channel transistors (NACTs) present a promising alternative, leveraging their vacuum-like channel and Fowler-Nordheim tunneling characteristics. In this study, a novel circular gate NACT (CG-NACT) is purposed, fabricated on a 4-inch silicon-based wafer using a CMOS-compatible process.

In this study, we investigate the impact of first and second-order coupling strengths on the stability of a synchronization manifold in a Discrete FitzHugh-Nagumo (DFHN) neuron model with memristor coupling. Master Stability Function (MSF) is used to estimate the stability of the synchronized manifold. The MSF of the DFHN model exhibits two zero crossings as we vary the coupling strengths, which is categorized as class .

The hydraulic support pushing mechanism is the primary equipment utilized in coal mine backfill operations, playing a crucial role in enhancing filling efficiency, ensuring a stable filling body, and managing gob safety. This paper focuses on analyzing the dynamic model and the interrelationship of the hydraulic cylinder, which serves as the power source for the pushing mechanism. To address the intricate coupling effects arising from the hydraulic cylinders and the displacement-force induced by the shared pump, this study employs feedforward compensation for decoupling analysis.
