Hyaluronic acid fillers rarely cause potentially devastating occlusive adverse events that require immediate hyaluronidase salvage infiltrations. An exploratory photographic investigation probed whether topical heparin's anticlotting and anti-inflammatory properties could synergize with and enhance the effectiveness of hyaluronidase. Based on heparin pharmacodynamics, the authors explored the rationale for associating topical heparins with hyaluronidase in treating occlusive side effects following accidental intra-arterial hyaluronic acid injections.

Objective: To assess whether intra-arterial tenecteplase administered after successful endovascular recanalisation improves outcomes in patients with acute arterial occlusion of the posterior circulation.
Design: Multicentre randomised controlled trial.
Setting: 31 hospitals in China, 24 January 2023 to 24 August 2023.

Background: Relapsed unresectable triple-negative breast cancer is a demanding disease with only a few treatment options. Especially for patients with unresectable tumor masses, a treatment that offers rapid tumor shrinkage is needed. If patients are exhausted from several treatment lines, systemic side effects have to be avoided.

Introduction: We aim to assess the clinical presentation, treatment, and outcomes in patients with acute basilar artery occlusion (BAO) after receiving medical management (MM) (including IV thrombolysis, antiplatelet, anticoagulation) and endovascular therapy (EVT) (including intra-arterial thrombolysis, stent placement, mechanical thrombectomy).
Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study including all adult patients treated at three Mayo Clinic stroke centers with acute BAO from 2008 to 2021. Chart review was conducted to extract details of presentation, treatment, and outcome.

Background: Immunotherapy combined with intra-arterial therapy (IAT) has shown great potential in the treatment of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC). However, there are currently no available biomarkers that can predict the prognosis of immune-based combined therapy.
Objectives: To establish a scoring method to predict prognosis in uHCC patients undergoing IAT plus immunotherapy.
