For the recently established genus (Diopsidae, stalk-eyed flies), Feijen, Feijen & Feijen, is described from Madagascar. A concise catalogue is given for the genus and an identification key is presented for its six species. The differential character states are listed for the two species groups of the genus: the species group and the species group. The intrageneric relations are discussed based on morphology, geometric morphometrics analysis of wing shape, and allometric data for eye span against body length. Each of these three procedures places the new species in the species group with as its closest relative. New records are presented for and .

Background: Treatment for childhood cancer may increase the risk of long-term pulmonary complications and dysfunction. Pulmonary surveillance is recommended after established pulmonary toxic exposures, including bleomycin, busulfan, carmustine (BCNU), lomustine (CCNU), radiotherapy to a field exposing the lungs, and pulmonary surgery. However, the role of cyclophosphamide as a pulmonary toxic agent is debated.

Owing to their rapid cooling rate and hence loss-limited propagation distance, cosmic-ray electrons and positrons (CRe) at very high energies probe local cosmic-ray accelerators and provide constraints on exotic production mechanisms such as annihilation of dark matter particles. We present a high-statistics measurement of the spectrum of CRe candidate events from 0.3 to 40 TeV with the High Energy Stereoscopic System, covering 2 orders of magnitude in energy and reaching a proton rejection power of better than 10^{4}.

Purpose: Achieving endocrine remission by gross total resection is challenging in pituitary neuroendocrine tumours (PitNETs) with cavernous sinus invasion. This study aims to assess the safety, feasibility, and optimal dose for intraoperative fluorescence imaging as an added instrument to discriminate PitNET from surrounding tissue using bevacizumab-800CW, targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A).
Methods: In part I, dose-escalation (0-4∙5-10-25 mg) was performed in 4 groups of 3 patients with PitNETs Knosp grade 3-4.

Objective: This study examines the association between psychosocial risk and protective factors and a wide range of psychosocial outcomes including emotional, social, cognitive, and physical domains in childhood cancer survivors (CCS).
Methods: CCS from the Dutch Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (DCCSS)-LATER cohort (diagnosed 1963-2001) part 2 (age ≥ 18 years, diagnosed < 18 years, ≥ 5 years since diagnosis) completed questionnaires on psychosocial risk and protective factors (Benefit and Burden Scale, Illness Cognition Questionnaire, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and Impact of Cancer Scale), and psychosocial outcomes (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Self-Rating Scale for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, TNO-AZL Questionnaire for Adult Health-Related Quality of Life, and Short Form-36). Associations were assessed with regression analysis, adjusting for attained age, sex, number of health conditions, and time since diagnosis, while correcting for multiple testing (p < 0.
Widely used methods to assess population genetic structure and differentiation rely on independence of marker loci. Following the assumption, the common metrics, for example , evaluate genetic structure by averaging across loci. Common metrics do not use information in the associations among loci at the individual level and are often criticized for failing to measure true differentiation even when loci segregate independently.
