Platinum resistance is a common cause of chemotherapy failure in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). Competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs), which function by competitively binding to miRNAs, can influence drug response. However, the regulatory mechanisms of ceRNAs underlying chemoresistance in LUAD remain largely unknown.

Background: Endothelial cells are integral components of the tumor microenvironment and play a multifaceted role in tumor immunotherapy. Targeting endothelial cells and related signaling pathways can improve the effectiveness of immunotherapy by normalizing tumor blood vessels and promoting immune cell infiltration. However, to date, there have been no comprehensive studies analyzing the role of endothelial cells in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD).

Kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC) is the most prevalent subtype of kidney cancer. Although multiple therapeutic agents have been proven effective in KIRC, their clinical application has been hindered by a lack of reliable biomarkers. This study focused on the prognostic value and function of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion- (ADME-) related genes (ARGs) in KIRC to enhance personalized therapy.

Objective: Several observational studies have identified an association between plasma proteins and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study aimed to explore the potential causal relationship between the circulating protein-to-protein ratio and the morbidity risk of HCC.
Methods: Genetic association data for circulating plasma proteins and 2821 protein-to-protein ratios were sourced from the UKB PPP and Suhre's study.
