This longitudinal study sought to identify distinct body mass index (BMI) trajectories and investigate the impact of these level-independent BMI trajectories on the prevalence of thyroid nodules (TN).This study encompassed a cohort of 1967 participants from a hospital in China. Utilizing latent class growth mixture modeling (LCGMM), four BMI trajectory groups were identified based on the BMI of individuals without TN from 2017 to 2019.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the long-term results of THA patients who received a cementless short stem regarding clinical outcomes, bone changes, complications, and incidence of femoral revision.
Methods: A retrospective evaluation of the first 100 THA employing a type 2B cementless stem (Mini hip stem, Corin, Cirencester, United Kingdom) by the same surgeon at one institution. We only include patients with 18 years or more, and with a minimum follow up of 8 years.

Health promotion and disease prevention are crucial for improving public health and alleviating the burden of illness in the population. This study aimed to investigate, the sources of health information most used and trusted, and the health topics most searched, by means of a nationwide cross-sectional online survey of a representative sample of the adult Swiss general population. Overall, complete surveys of 2020 participants were analysed (mean age 47 years old, 51% male, and matching the Swiss population regarding age, sex, and language-speaking region).
