The S1S2S3 pattern, in conjunction with right-dominant forces on a 12-lead electrocardiogram including a tall R-wave in lead V (R:S >1), deep S waves in the left precordial leads V and V (R:S <1), QRS interval <120 ms, and right atrial enlargement (P-wave in lead II >2.5 mm), is highly specific for right ventricular dysfunction with pulmonary hypertension. This study focused on extracting holocellulose from Changbai larch waste, which is rich in hexose and beneficial for furan chemicals production. Various alkaline deep eutectic solvents (DESs) was applied in the extraction of holocellulose. DES composed of lysine (Lys) and 2-aminoethanol (MEA) with strong alkalinity had a superior ability to remove lignin, and the purity of holocellulose could reach 82.

Background: The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of the number of carotid and common femoral bifurcations with plaque (NBP) detected by ultrasound in reclassifying atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk obtained from SCORE algorithms. Data from the cohort of 1000 individuals free from ASCVD in the Cyprus Epidemiological Study on Atherosclerosis was used.

Methods: In each predicted ASCVD risk class (low, moderate, high) based on SCORE algorithms and baseline data, the observed 10-year risk of subgroups according to the NBP was used to reclassify participants.

Unidade de Disturbios do Sono, Divisao de Pneumologia, Instituto do Coracao (InCor), Hospital das Clinicas HCFMUSP, Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil.

Study Objectives: The comorbidity of insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea (COMISA) is common and associated with adverse clinical consequences. While insomnia is often underdiagnosed among individuals with OSA, the identification of insomnia among these individuals may lead to improved medical care. Our objective was to assess the performance of two simplified tools (insomnia severity index-2 (ISI-2) and ISI-3) to identify insomnia among individuals with OSA.

Objectives: Evaluation of the validity of the Quadruple-D score in the prediction of success in pediatric stone disease.

Materials And Methods: Of the 292 children treated with SWL between 2007 and 2023, a total of 158 children who had adequate follow-up data and evaluated with non-contrast computed tomography before SWL, were included in the study. Parameters were calculated for each of the stone volume (SV), skin-to-stone distance (SSD), stone density (SD) and stone location (SL) variables.

1,2,3-triazole is a vital structural motif of various drugs and therapeutic leads, as well as a linker for bioconjugation and molecular recognition. Cu-catalysed click cycloaddition of azides with terminal alkynes (CuAAc) is an important reaction to construct the triazole core. In recent years, various decarboxylative click strategies utilizing alkynoic acids as stable surrogates for low boiling or gaseous alkynes have been developed.
