In case of parotid gland injury, one has to be aware of the fact that post-operative complications like duct injury, leakage are very common. At times, a simple conservative approach turns out to be effective in managing complications of this nature.

Purpose: To assess the level of moral distress (MD) and perceptions of ethical climate among pediatric hematology/oncology (PHO) nurses and to identify bioethics topics where increased education was desired.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we administered the 26-item Swedish Moral Distress Scale-Revised (sMDS-R), specifically revised and validated for pediatric oncology, in conjunction with the Clinical Ethics Needs Assessment Survey (CENAS). Background: Given the prevalence of cardiovascular disease, encountering difficult airways in this patient population is quite common. The challenge for anesthesiologists lies not only in establishing the airway but also in managing the hemodynamic instability caused by sympathetic activation during intubation.
