The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a rapid transition from teaching in person to teaching in a virtual environment, which forced many nursing professional development practitioners unfamiliar with this methodology to quickly adapt and acquire new skills. This article describes a course created to ease nursing professional development practitioners' transition who suddenly found themselves teaching in this unfamiliar environment. The process described may be useful for other organizations transitioning to teaching in a virtual environment.

What Was The Educational Challenge?: Nurses play an essential role in the professional development of physician trainees within the clinical learning environment (CLE), but rarely receive formal training regarding this role.
What Was The Solution?: Utilizing a multifaceted, systematic approach, we developed an educational program for newly licensed nurses which addressed their role in the CLE and the professional development of physician trainees.
How Was The Solution Implemented?: We delivered two 90-minute workshops to approximately 40 nurses during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Background: Racial and ethnic minorities, including Hispanic/Latino, Asian American and Pacific Islander individuals, lack adequate representation in preclinical Alzheimer's disease (AD) trials. This study sought to examine the effectiveness of a culturally and linguistically appropriate community-based educational intervention in enhancing knowledge and awareness of the AHEAD 3-45 preclinical AD trial among underrepresented Filipino, Korean, and Hispanic/Latino Americans.
Method: With professional nursing and other partner organizations, we conducted 21 community-based educational sessions for underrepresented older adults of Filipino, Korean, and Hispanic/Latino backgrounds.
