January 2025
The Unit of Health Promotion, Department of Public Health, University of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg, Denmark.
Prevalence of dysphagia is high in hospitalised geriatric patients, posing risks of complications including malnutrition, dehydration, aspiration, and pneumonia. These complications may lead to reduced daily functioning, frailty, prolonged hospital stays, readmissions, and mortality. Diagnosing dysphagia in geriatric patients is often challenging due to the complex health conditions of this patient group, and overall these patients are at risk of lack of continuity in patient pathways and unnecessary hospitalisations.

Background: Due to the divers biological applications of Cu(II) complexes, we in this study reports the various Cu(II) complexes. The study aims to synthesize and assess new Cu(II) complexes as powerful β-glucuronidase inhibitors.
Methods: Five Schiff base ligands and their complexes were synthesized, characterized, and screened against β-glucuronidase inhibitory activity.

A daily diary approach was employed, where employees provided data from Monday to Friday throughout a workweek.

Plant invasion is a big challenge to weed management of agricultural lands. In order to reveal the list of common weed species among alien invasive plants, and reveal practical management strategies, we extracted the species lists of common alien agricultural weeds (CAAWs) of various arable lands and plantations, by comparing the lists of alien invasive plant species and common weed species published in China. Totally 88 species from 18 families were recognized as CAAWs, among which 43.

Exercise to treat traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a novel approach that has only become recognized in the past decade. High-intensity gait training (HIGT) has been studied in subjects following stroke; however, little research investigates similar protocols on patients with TBI. The study evaluated HIGT as an intervention for enhancing patient recovery after TBI.
