Methods: This cross-sectional study analysed responses to 30 LBP-related questions, covering self-management, risk factors and treatment. The questions were developed by experienced clinicians and researchers and were piloted with a group of consumer representatives with lived experience of LBP.

Purpose: Feeding plates for cleft palate patients have been used by clinicians for many years to temporarily close the oro-nasal communication until definitive treatment with surgical techniques. The current in vitro study aimed to evaluate the adaptation of the feeding plates manufactured by two different techniques for three cleft types.

Materials And Methods: Feeding plates were manufactured with conventional compression molding (CM) and 3-dimensional (3D) additive manufacturing on main models representing bilateral cleft, unilateral right, and unilateral left cleft types (n = 10).

As a primary care pediatrician trained before work hour restrictions were enacted, I spent hours mastering procedures that trainees today rarely perform. The changing landscape of health care clinician roles, technology, and work hour restrictions have all contributed to a remarkable decline in trainees' procedural competence which has significant negative effects for patients, health care systems, and physicians themselves. I suggest simulation, live training, mentoring, and scheduled opportunities as ways to reemphasize the importance of learning these technical skills.

Serious illness conversation (SIC) in an important skillset for clinicians. A review of mortality meetings from an urban academic hospital highlighted the need for early engagement in SICs and advance care planning (ACP) to align medical treatments with patient-centered outcomes. The aim of this study was to increase SICs and their documentation in patients with low one-year survival probability identified by updated Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI) scores.
