Clinical monitoring of oxcarbazepine (OXC) and its metabolite licarbazepine (MHD) in biological matrix requires a sensitive and validated analytical method. The aim of this study is to develop and validate an optimized ultra performance liquid chromatography-MS/MS based bioanalytical method for the simultaneous estimation of OXC and its metabolite MHD in human plasma, using deuterated internal standard method. A reverse phase ultra performance liquid chromatography analysis and mass spectrometric detection was performed using electrospray ionization in positive ion mode as interface, multiple reaction monitoring as mode of acquisition. The linearity range was 10-4011 ng/ml for OXC and 40-16061 ng/ml for MHD. The kinetic parameters were calculated and compared for bioequivalence. This method fulfilled the validation guidelines, could be employed for determining bioavailability and in new formulation development studies.

True total-body and extended axial field-of-view (AFOV) PET/CT with 1m or more of body coverage are now commercially available and dramatically increase system sensitivity over conventional AFOV PET/CT. The Siemens Biograph Vision Quadra (Quadra), with an AFOV of 106cm, potentially allows use of significantly lower administered radiopharmaceuticals as well as reduced scan times. The aim of this study was to optimise acquisition protocols for routine clinical imaging with FDG on the Quadra the prioritisation of reduced activity given physical infrastructure constraints in our facility.

Background: In recent years, there have been suggestions for new restorative strategies that aim to effectively utilize modern adhesive technologies and protect the remaining intact tooth structure. This study was conducted to evaluate the clinical performance of fiber reinforced resin composites in restoring Class II MOD cavities over 18 months.

Methods: Forty-five participants with class II MOD cavities were randomly enrolled.

Powder-based fire extinguishing agents have become a kind of promising substitutes for halon extinguishing agents in civil aircrafts. However, their storage lifespan, significantly influenced by the thermal aging, emerges as a crucial yet overlooked aspect for aviation use. This study investigates the effects of thermal aging cycles on various parameters of ordinary dry powder extinguishing agent (ODPEA) and novel superhydrophobic and oleophobic ultra-fine dry powder extinguishing agent (SHOU DPEA), including surface microscopic morphology, D90 (the diameter at which 90% of the cumulative volume of particles are equal to or smaller than this value), chemical structure, hydrophobic and oleophobic angles, flowability, extinguishing time and effectiveness.

With the increasing demand on high-density integration and better performance of micro-nano optoelectronic devices, the operation temperatures are expected to significantly increase under some extreme conditions, posing a risk of degradation to metal-based micro-/nano-structured metasurfaces due to their low tolerance to high temperature. Therefore, it is urgent to find new materials with high-conductivity and excellent high-temperature resistance to replace traditional micro-nano metal structures. Herein, we have proposed and fabricated a thermally stable graphene assembly film (GAF), which is calcined at ultra-high temperature (~ 3000 ℃) during the reduction of graphite oxide (GO).
