We present the 6-year update of a phase 2 study evaluating the combination of obinutuzumab and idelalisib in relapse/refractory Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia. The results of the REMODEL trial demonstrated interesting efficacy in a high-risk genotype profile population. The primary endpoint was achieved with a median PFS of 25.

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is the most common type of leukemia in the US, representing approximately 1.1% of all new cancers diagnosed. Most patients with CLL can be monitored without treatment, and the indicated treatment options include a CD20 monoclonal antibody with or without bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitors, and B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) antagonists.

Purpose: The transmembrane protein CD37 is expressed almost exclusively in lymphoid tissues, with the highest abundance in mature B cells. CD37-directed antibody- and, more recently, cellular-based approaches have shown preclinical and promising early clinical activity. Naratuximab emtansine (Debio 1562, IMGN529) is an antibodydrug conjugate (ADC) that incorporates an anti-CD37 monoclonal antibody conjugated to the maytansinoid DM1 as payload.

Background: Patients with relapsed/refractory T-cell malignancies have limited treatment options. The use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy for T-cell malignancies is challenging due to possible blast contamination of autologous T-cell products and fratricide of CAR-T cells targeting T-lineage antigens. Recently, allogeneic double-negative T cells (DNTs) have been shown to be safe as an off-the-shelf adoptive cell therapy and to be amendable for CAR transduction.

The SRealCLL study aimed to obtain real-world evidence on the clinical characteristics and treatment patterns of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) using natural language processing (NLP). Electronic health records (EHRs) from seven Spanish hospitals (January 2016-December 2018) were analyzed using EHRead technology, based on NLP and machine learning. A total of 534 CLL patients were assessed.
