Pediatric dentistry is a speciality of dentistry focusing mainly on oral health care of children. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment is key of a good treatment plan and effective results. Sometimes in infants, it is not possible to make a confirmatory diagnosis due to lack of cooperation, which is the biggest challenge of kids dentistry. In such cases, we need to take into consideration the psychological and physiologic aspect of child to find an alternative treatment plan, which is time saving and painless. Here, we present a unique case management of lingual swelling on the ventral surface of tongue in a 9-month-old girl child with a minimal invasive approach, thus avoiding a time-consuming and invasive surgical treatment plan. Purpose: To compare five pulmonary surfactant (PS) administration strategies for neonates with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), including intubation-surfactant-extubation (InSurE), thin catheter administration, laryngeal mask airway (LMA), surfactant nebulization (SN), and usual care, with a particular emphasis on the comparison of the LMA and SN with other strategies.
Methods: We conducted a systematic search of MEDLINE, EMBASE, PUBMED, and Cochrane CENTRAL databases up to November 2023. Two authors independently conducted data extraction, and assessed bias using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool.

Melanoma, an aggressive skin tumor, is prone to metastasis, significantly reducing patient survival rates once it occurs. Tumor microvascularity is a key factor in metastasis, making the inhibition of microvascular formation crucial. Emerging photothermal therapy (PTT) and microneedles (MNs) have garnered attention due to their non-invasive and controllable nature.

Proper management of cattle reproduction has a major impact on the efficiency and profitability of dairy production. Ultrasound examination and transrectal palpation or the pregnancy-associated glycoprotein (PAG) test are currently the most commonly used methods for pregnancy diagnosis. However, alternative methods to those mentioned above are constantly being sought in order to minimise stress during the examination, the cost of veterinary services and to reduce the rate of errors in pregnancy diagnosis.
