The testicular deficiency associated with exposure to three widely used insecticides in Egyptian agriculture was evaluated. Animals were orally treated with sub-lethal dose (1/50 of the oral LD) of cypermethrin (CYP), imidacloprid (IMC), and chlorpyrifos (CPF) at 5, 9 and 1.9 mg/kg/day, respectively, five times a week for one month. The CYP, IMC, and CPF exposure resulted in a significant decline in animal body weight, sperm count, motility, normality, and viability with increased head and tail deformities. Significant reduction in serum testosterone, luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), testis superoxide dismutase (SOD), and reduced glutathione (GSH) levels. In contrast, catalase (CAT), lipid peroxidation (LPO), and protein carbonyl content (PCC) levels were significantly stimulated. Jointly, obtained results were confirmed by microscopic examination of testis sections. The present data concluded that the CYP, IMC, and CPF have a public health impact and violently interferes with male rat reproductive system.

Purpose: We aimed to investigate possible hormonal changes following microdissection testicular sperm extraction (mTESE) in men with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) across three referral centers.

Materials And Methods: We prospectively analyzed data from 102 consecutive NOA men. Patients with prior hormonal therapies were excluded.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: The effect of hyperuricemia (HUA) on testicular spermatogenesis cannot be ignored. The classical Chinese medicine compound Shenling Baizhu San (SLBZS) can reduce uric acid and improve testicular spermatogenesis, while researchers have not well explored the related pathology and pharmacodynamic mechanism have.

Aims Of Study: To investigate whether the dysfunction of testicular spermatogenesis caused by HUA and the therapeutic effect of SLBZS are related to testicular cell ferroptosis.

Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency accounts for approximately 95% of all CAH cases and is one of the most common inborn errors of metabolism. While glucocorticoid therapy has significantly improved patient outcomes, the focus has shifted towards managing the long-term effects. Numerous adverse outcomes have been associated with CAH, including those resulting from supraphysiological doses of glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid replacement, excessive adrenal androgen secretion, and elevated levels of steroid precursors and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH).

Testosterone is a natural hormone which is an essential factor to maintain the physical and emotional well-being in men, regardless of age. Male hypogonadism is an endocrinal condition of testosterone deficiency with the potential to cause multiple physical complaints and psychosocial problems. The condition can be of primary (due to testicular injury), secondary (due to diseases of the hypothalamus or pituitary gland) or functional nature (due to comorbidities, such as inflammatory diseases, obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus).

This study aims to reveal the effects and mechanisms of different fractions of Polygonati Rhizoma on the reproductive dysfunction in male mice with kidney essence deficiency due to excess of sexual intercourse. Fifty male ICR mice with good sexual function were selected and randomized into normal(NC), model(MC), n-butanol fraction of Polygonati Rhizoma(0.4 g·kg~(-1), HJCT), remaining fraction of Polygonati Rhizoma(0.
