Investigating correlation of lncRNA NEAT1 with Th1 and Th17 in sepsis, and their associations with inflammation, disease severity and prognosis.  A total of 127 sepsis patients and 50 health subjects were included. LncRNA NEAT1, Th1, Th17 and Th1/Th17-secreted cytokines were detected. positively correlated with Th1 and Th17 cell proportions in sepsis patients. positively correlated with Th1 and Th17-secreted cytokine levels in sepsis patients. and Th17 cell proportion positively correlated with CRP level, acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II score and sequential organ failure assessment score. High expression, Th1 and Th17 cell proportions correlated with elevated accumulating mortality. positively correlated with Th1 and Th17, and may serve as an assistant biomarker in sepsis patients.

Background And Aim: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is characterized by complex immunological interactions involving CD4 T cell subsets and the NLRP3 inflammasome, which influence inflammatory responses. This investigation focused on delineating the activation profiles of these components and their correlation with disease severity and activity, assessing their diagnostic implications in UC.

Methods: We conducted immunohistochemistry and ELISA assays to measure markers expression of CD4 T cell subsets and the NLRP3 inflammasome in UC patients versus controls.

(APP) is a significant pathogen in the swine industry, leading to substantial economic losses and highlighting the need for effective vaccines. This study evaluates the potential of APP-derived extracellular vesicles (APP-EVs) as a vaccine candidate compared to the commercial Coglapix vaccine. APP-EVs, isolated using tangential flow filtration (TFF) and cushioned ultracentrifugation, exhibited an average size of 105 nm and a zeta potential of -17.

Lymphopoiesis is the generation of the T, B and NK cell lineages from a common lymphoid-biased haematopoietic stem cell. The experimental study of this process has generated a large amount of cellular and molecular data. As a result, there is a considerable number of mathematical and computational models regarding different aspects of lymphopoiesis.

Introduction/aims: Tofacitinib, a first-generation Janus kinase (JAK) 1/3 inhibitor, is commonly used for treating ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis. However, its role in myasthenia gravis (MG) remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the immunomodulatory effects of tofacitinib on experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis (EAMG) and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from patients with MG.
