Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a distinctive epithelial cancer closely associated with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) infection, posing significant challenges in diagnosis and treatment due to its resistance to conventional therapies and high recurrence rates. Current therapies, including radiotherapy and chemotherapy, exhibit limited efficacy, particularly in recurrent or metastatic cases, highlighting the urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies. Targeting EBV oncoproteins, such as Epstein-Barr Virus encoded Nuclear Antigen 1 (EBNA1), Latent Membrane Protein 1 (LMP1), and Latent Membrane Protein 2 (LMP2), presents a promising therapeutic avenue in NPC treatment.

Aims: The utilization of targeted metabolomics technology promises to facilitate the identification of novel metabolic markers in women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), which may in turn facilitate a more comprehensive investigation of the underlying mechanisms of gestational diabetes GDM.
Materials And Methods: In this study, we used targeted metabolomics to identify serum metabolites from women with or without GDM. The differential metabolites were categorized and analysed using pathway analyses, correlated with maternal glucose level, and assessed as predictors of GDM by receiver operating characteristics analysis.

Background: Recent advancements in ultra-high-density mapping (UHDM) featuring automated functionalities have enhanced our understanding of micro-reentrant atrial tachycardias (mAT) circuits and the precise localization of the origin.
Purpose: To evaluate the diagnostic support provided by an automated UHDM algorithm in guiding the ablation of mATs.
Methods: Consecutive patients eligible for AT ablation in 22 Italian centers were prospectively enrolled.

Aims: Intraductal carcinoma (IDC) is an independent pathological parameter for adverse prostate cancer (PCa) outcome. Although most IDC are believed to originate from retrograde spread of established PCa, rare IDC cases may represent precursor lesions. The actual transition areas between intraductal and invasive cancer, however, have not yet been identified.

Background: Peptidomics combined with molecular docking is an effective alternative method for rapid screening of novel bioactive peptides in food. Buffalo milk as a potential source of dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) inhibitory peptides has been less studied. Peptidomics and molecular docking methods were employed to rapidly screen new DPP-IV inhibitory peptides from buffalo milk.
