We report the case of a 59-year-old woman with a history of smoking, hypertension, and prior surgeries. She presented with acute right upper quadrant abdominal pain radiating to the back. Chest computed tomography (CT) is the most frequently performed imaging examination worldwide. Compared with chest radiography, chest CT greatly improves the detection rate and diagnostic accuracy of chest lesions because of the absence of overlapping structures and is the best imaging technique for the observation of chest lesions. However, there are still frequently missed diagnoses during the interpretation process, especially in certain areas or "blind spots", which may possibly be overlooked by radiologists.

We present the case of a 65-year-old male, who presented with upper GI bleeding and melena. The patient underwent upper and lower GI examinations with no conclusive findings.
