Background: Clinical decision support systems leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly integrated into health care practices, including pharmacy medication verification. Communicating uncertainty in an AI prediction is viewed as an important mechanism for boosting human collaboration and trust. Yet, little is known about the effects on human cognition as a result of interacting with such types of AI advice.

Purpose: Following the initial reports demonstrating the feasibility of immunoPET imaging of simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) using gp120-targeting monoclonal antibodies in non-human primates, replication efforts of the imaging system in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected individuals have yielded conflicting results. Herein, we used two anti-gp120 antibodies, 7D3 and ITS103.01LS-F(ab'), to interrogate the reproducibility of gp120-targeting probes for immunoPET imaging of SIV in rhesus macaques.

Anorectal fistulas remain one of the most challenging conditions in colorectal surgery and require precise anatomical knowledge for successful management. This comprehensive review synthesizes the current evidence on the anatomical foundations of fistula development and treatment, particularly focusing on the cryptoglandular hypothesis and its clinical implications. A systematic analysis of the recent literature has examined the relationship between anatomical structures and fistula formation, classification systems, diagnostic modalities, and therapeutic approaches.
