Introduction: Although most countries and healthcare systems worldwide have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, some groups of the population may be more vulnerable to detrimental effects of the pandemic on mental health than others. The aim of this systematic review was to synthesise evidence currently available from systematic reviews on the impact of COVID-19 and other coronavirus outbreaks on mental health for groups of the population thought to be at increased risk of detrimental mental health impacts.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a systematic review of reviews on adults and children residing in a country affected by a coronavirus outbreak and belonging to a group considered to be at risk of experiencing mental health inequalities. Data were collected on symptoms or diagnoses of any mental health condition, quality of life, suicide or attempted suicide. The protocol for this systematic review was registered in the online PROSPERO database prior to commencing the review (https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/prospero/display_record.php?RecordID=194264).
Results: We included 25 systematic reviews. Most reviews included primary studies of hospital workers from multiple countries. Reviews reported variable estimates for the burden of symptoms of mental health problems among acute healthcare workers, COVID-19 patients with physical comorbidities, and children and adolescents. No evaluations of interventions were identified. Risk- and protective factors, mostly for healthcare workers, showed the importance of personal factors, the work environment, and social networks for mental health.
Conclusions: This review of reviews based on primary studies conducted in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic shows a lack of evidence on mental health interventions and mental health impacts on vulnerable groups in the population.

Human experiences are inherently shaped by individual perspectives, leading to diverse interpretations of the same events. However, shared activities, such as communal film watching or sports viewing, underscore the dual nature of these experiences: collective joy arises through social interactions, while individual emotional responses are influenced by personal preferences. The neural mechanisms underlying this interplay between shared and idiosyncratic experiences, particularly in the context of reward processing, remain insufficiently explored.

In this paper, I share insights from ongoing ethnographic fieldwork among adult Danes who identify as having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) but do not meet the clinical standards and have yet to receive a diagnosis. These individuals are particularly relevant to the ongoing debates about under- and overdiagnosis of ADHD, as their claims to the diagnosis influence and mirror societal perceptions of what is considered normal and what is seen as a condition. Despite their symptoms not strictly meeting diagnostic criteria, thus risking overdiagnosis and associated psychiatric labeling, they perceive themselves as distinct from 'normal' people.

Behavioral and mental health (BMH) issues are increasing in adolescents as shortages of primary care and BMH providers are also rising. The healthcare burden has fallen especially hard on primary care providers (PCPs), who are showing increasing signs of burnout and making plans to reduce their work hours or leave the profession altogether. These factors impede their ability to be the first line of defense in providing emotional support to children and families.

Objectives: Past studies have shown the efficacy of spinal targeted drug delivery (TDD) in pain relief, reduction in opioid use, and cost-effectiveness in long-term management of complex chronic pain. We conducted a survey to determine treatment variables associated with patient satisfaction.
Materials And Methods: Patients in a single pain clinic who were implanted with Medtronic pain pumps to relieve intractable pain were identified from our electronic health record.

Bipolar disorder (BD) frequently coexists with anxiety disorders, creating complex challenges in clinical therapy and management. This study investigates the prevalence, prognostic implications, and treatment strategies for comorbid BD and anxiety disorders. High comorbidity rates, particularly with generalized anxiety disorder, underscore the necessity of thorough clinical assessments to guide effective management.
