Purpose: This study aimed to i) identify child and family goals reported in a community allied health service, ii) map goals to ICF domains, and iii) evaluate goal characteristics against child-centred and family-centred practice principles.
Methods: A retrospective study design was used to extract and analyse raw goal data documented for children and families accessing a community-based allied health service. ICF linking rules were used to map goals to the ICF domains.

Objectives: Children with medical complexity (CMC) have disproportionately high healthcare utilization and mortality. Goals of care (GOC) discussions improve goal-concordance and subjective outcomes for CMC and their caregivers; however, little is known about the frequency or characteristics of GOC discussions in CMC. We sought to define GOC discussion frequency and attributes in CMC and identify patient characteristics that may influence GOC discussion occurrence.

Background: Competing definitions of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) have been proposed by ICD-11 and DSM-5; it is unclear which diagnostic model works best for children and adolescents. Although other studies have predicted the impact of these models by approximating the criteria using older measures, this study advances the research by comparing measures designed to assess ICD-11 and DSM-5 criteria in hurricane-exposed youth. This study evaluates ICD-11 and DSM-5 (both the standard and preschool-age) diagnostic models by identifying diagnostic rates, evaluating diagnostic concordance, investigating the predictive value of constructs associated with PTSD (demographics, disaster threat and exposure, functional impairment), and examining model fit.

Chronic wounds are a syndrome that affects around 4% of the world population due to several pathologies. The COV-19 pandemic has enforced the need of developing new techniques and technologies that can help clinicians to monitor the affected patients easily and reliably. In this prospective observational study a new device, the Wound Viewer, that works through a memristor-based Discrete-Time Cellular Neural Network (DT-CNN) has been developed and tested through a clinical trial of 150 patients.
