The case was a 65-year-old woman. She underwent graft replacement of ascending aorta because she developed Stanford type A acute aortic dissection in November 2016. After six months she had a fever, so she underwent contrast-enhanced computed tomography and echocardiography at the previous hospital. An abnormal shadow was found in the artificial blood vessel, and the blood culture test was positive. The abnormal shadow was suspected to be a vegetation and was referred to our department. Vegetation was highly mobile and emergency surgery was performed considering the risk of embolism. Intraoperative findings showed that vegetation was attached to the anastomotic site of the artificial blood vessel. She was transferred to a rehabilitation hospital 57 days after the operation and is currently rehabilitating.

Purpose: To determine how often non-mass lesions are seen in screening breast ultrasounds, and analyze their ultrasound features according to the ultrasound lexicon to find features suggestive of malignant non-mass lesions.
Methods: This study is a single center retrospective study for nonmass lesions on screening breast ultrasound. Among 21,604 patients who underwent screening breast US, there were 279 patients with nonmass lesions.
A 70-year-old man was referred to our hospital for an abnormal chest X-ray shadow. A chest CT scan showed a mass shadow with a cavitary lesion in segment 6 of the right lung. One year after radical resection(resection of the lower lobe of the right lung; pT2aN0M0, pStage ⅠB), the patient exhibited enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes and liver metastases, and postoperative recurrence was determined.

Nonmass lesions (NMLs) on breast ultrasound lack clear definition and encompass a broad range of benign and malignant entities. Given anticipated inclusion of NMLs in the BI-RADS 6th edition, thorough understanding of these lesions will be critical for optimal management. To evaluate interreader agreement for classification of lesions on breast ultrasound as NMLs and to identify imaging features associated with malignancy in these lesions.
