Iatrogenic complications may manifest in a variety of ways. We present the case of an 86-year-old woman who underwent a percutaneous coronary intervention with a drug-eluting stent for non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction followed by leadless pacemaker placement through a femoral approach. Her post-procedure course was complicated by new onset high-output heart failure secondary to iatrogenic arteriovenous fistula formation, requiring covered stent placement. ().

Subclavian arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) are rare entities, mostly reported as a result of traumatic and iatrogenic injuries. In the literature, congenital subclavian AVFs are also presented. Diagnosis of traumatic AVF may present challenges given the variable clinical presentation, varying location, and difficulty to locate on imaging.

Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery is one of the main treatment procedures for revascularization. Diagnosing postoperative complications can be difficult. In our practice at our department, we have encountered two clinical cases involving the complete loss of vision and ophthalmoplegia after craniotomy on the vascular pathology of the brain. Both patients underwent microsurgery via bifrontal skin incision. In the first case, the subfrontal craniotomy on the right side was made, and then microsurgical resection of an arteriovenous malformation of the right frontal lobe was performed.
