Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate the corneal biomechanical properties in patients post kidney transplant and to compare them with healthy age-matched control.
Materials And Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 68 patients with kidney transplant (study group) and 68 healthy individuals (control group) were analyzed with ocular response analyzer measurements. Only the right eye of each participant was assessed for corneal hysteresis (CH), corneal resistance factor (CRF), corneal-compensated intraocular pressure (IOP), and Goldmann-correlated intraocular pressure (IOP).
Results: The mean CH in the study group was 9.70 ± 1.62 mmHg which was significantly lower than the control group with the mean CH of 10.60 ± 1.49 mmHg ( = 0.001). The mean IOP was 18.17 ± 4.00 mmHg and 16.00 ± 3.94 mmHg in the study and control groups, respectively ( = 0.002). CRF and IOP were not significantly different between groups.
Conclusion: CH and IOPare altered in kidney transplant patients.

Optimal fluid strategy for laparoscopic donor nephrectomy (LDN) remains unclear. LDN has been a domain for liberal fluid management to ensure graft perfusion, but this can result in adverse outcomes due to fluid overload. We compared postoperative outcome of living kidney donors according to the intraoperative fluid management.

Background: In the UK, booster COVID-19 vaccinations have been recommended biannually to people considered immune vulnerable. We investigated, at a population level, whether the absence of detectable anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike protein IgG antibody (anti-S Ab) following three or more vaccinations in immunosuppressed individuals was associated with greater risks of infection and severity of infection.
Methods: In this prospective cohort study using UK national disease registers, we recruited participants with solid organ transplants (SOTs), rare autoimmune rheumatic diseases (RAIRDs), and lymphoid malignancies.

Rationale & Objective: Valid measures of side effects are important to inform clinical use of calcineurin inhibitors (CNIs). This study sought to develop and establish the content validity of a PRO measure to capture side effects among kidney transplant recipients taking CNIs.
Study Design: Qualitative interviews for concept elicitation and cognitive debriefing.

Introduction: Resistance to lenvatinib limits the effectiveness of the targeted treatments for HCC. However, the exact mechanism behind this resistance remains elusive. Current research suggests that circular RNA (circRNA) is pivotal in mediating drug resistance during targeted treatments.
